Tuesday's Question: "What Would You Like Me To Know About You,?" and, "What Would You Like To Know About Me?"

Hello, welcome to Tuesday's Question. I've been searching for a question all day that I haven't already asked since I began posting Tuesday's Question in 2007.

Over the years, and stretches between posts, I've tried to ask original questions, (If there is such a thing.) in an effort keep the questions fresh, as well as authentic.

Hence today, in keeping with that tradition, instead of answering my own question, I'm going to answer your questions and vice-versa. Make sense?

I hope so...'cause here goes...

Alright, let's see how well I do at clarifying this...here's the first question: "What Would You Like Me To Know About You,?"and, "What Would You Like To Know About Me?"

These questions were hard to phrase, for one thing they include personal pronouns which are tricky and hard to clarify, especially, when there are two questions for each of "us."

Basically, all of us can ask whatever question we wish, of course that's not to assume that your inquiry will be answered, but I will certainly give you my best answer.

And now, when I think about it, I suppose I should answer the first question:

"What Would You Like Me To Know About You?"

I would like you to know that I love people, to write, and to laugh, but many of you already know this about me. I'm sure you may have more questions, because whereas I'm open, I'm also intensely private. But, do not let this detour you; ask away, o.k.?

I hope these questions will be fun to answer and will help create and enrich friendship. 'Cause, what would we do without friendship, and if it isn't fun, why do it?

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you will return often. :))))

You pretty much know me after all these years. Let's see. I love boating. I love to travel. I love great food. I love my hubby. I love meeting blogging buddies. I love cats, but am highly allergic. I miss our Little Bit and still cry often about losing her. I love the spring/summer and fall months. I do not like winter one bit.

I love flip flops. I hate shoes and socks. I love to dress comfortably, but can dress to the nines if need be. I would rather be on our boat and do all the work than be on a cruise ship with others doing all the work.

The question I have for you Annie is...why do you disappear from blogging for vast periods of time and then magically show back up. I've always wondered about that.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Simon. ♥♥♥

One thing you should know about me is that I can be very absent minded. For example I keep meaning to put your blog in my reader so that I don't miss your posts but for some reason I keep forgetting. :)

What I want to know about you? I guess anything you feel like telling .

Sandee, You're answer is soooo much better than mine. Clearly, you know yourself well. It's just one of your many fine qualities I love.

And you're right, we have known each other for sometime, and like all great friendships, the longer I know you the more I love and respect you. I truly consider you a dear friend- Although, we have never met in person I could pick you out in a crowd. I need to answer my own question better, don't I? Although, I'm sure you could find me as well.

We share many of the same values, yet we're almost a continent apart. We've even had the same job. It might surprise you to know that I was also a sheriff's deputy. Isn't that something? But, that's another story, I'll write about someday.

I love to think of you and "hubby" coasting in your boat, and I believe I would love California.

I could write on and on...but I will answer your question. The reason I have had long stretches between posting on ANPITS has been due to illness. Not just my own, but believe it or not, I lost three dear friends and a partner within a four years of each other.

It's taken me awhile to regain my sea legs. Before I became ill and lost those who were dear to me, I was in the middle of negotiating book deals, rearing a teenager, etc...

If someone would have asked me then, where I thought I would be now, I would have said, "promoting children's books, traveling, and writing short stories."

But, it's alright now...I'm on the mend. I had a terrible bout of hepatitis, but now, thanks to incredible scientific talent, I'm cured after three years of treatment. My first go round of treatment didn't work. But then, they discovered and the FDA approved, a medication three months later that literally saved my life.

I just found out that I am cured yesterday and I'm couldn't be more grateful. I'm tired and have some liver damage, but I'm gonna be fine.

I'm going to keep writing ANPITS, but I may still have a few short stretches between posts, due to the fact that I'm writing manuscripts or freelance, both of which require a lot of time and research, but you know me, I'm on my way.

I'm presently working on the layout of a children's manuscript that I wrote years ago, but somehow, I think now is the time this story was meant to published. If that makes any sense.

Anyway, I'm glad you asked me why I disappeared for so long only to return briefly and disappear again. Because I knew people had to wonder.

There is one thing I would like to tell you; and that's when my children's book is published you will receive a signed copy and you will know much about the background of the author, along with much gratitude for your loyalty to this little blog and your friendship.

So far, my life, like many others, has been one long roller coaster ride, fun, exciting, and sometimes downright scary.

I just bought the domain for A Nice Place In The Sun.com that will be more informative about the direction of my writing. Although, I'm focusing on manuscripts right now, so it may take awhile. In any event Sandee, my mainsail is flying...

I hope I didn't over answer, but I thought you of all people deserved more insight into my situation. A Nice Place In The Sun means so much to me, and if it weren't for you and a small group of others, it may well have vanished. I will never forget you for not giving up on it and I truly mean that.- (We never know the effect we have on other peoples lives, do we?)

Boy, I bet you didn't expect all of this...laughing...

Thank you again Sandee, and I adored your answer.

"Big Hugs" ::)))

And I will send Simon your message. :)

Thank you, Ann. I am also very absent minded and I'm delighted that you've planned on putting ANPITS in your reader.

I accidentally deleted a link the other day just moving things around on my layout. Sometimes, I wonder, is it old age? But, then again, naw, I've always been that way.

And as far as questions about me, if you think of anything, don't hesitate.

Thanks so much for answering and asking,(smile) Tuesday's Question.

Have a super great evening! :)))))

Sandee, I forgot to tell you that my thoughts and prayers are with you concerning Little Bit.

Hugs again,

Ann Thompson is a very good friend of mine too Annie. She's a hoot, and has a cute dog named Gibbs.

Thanks for your answer to my question. I knew about you losing your partner, but I didn't know about the other losses and I didn't know you were so sick. You had mentioned that you were going to the doctor a lot, but didn't know why.

Thanks for answering my question. It wasn't too long either. It was just right.

Thanks for the thoughts on Little Bit. It's been so very hard.

Have a fabulous day. Big hugs. More scritches to Simon. ♥♥♥

You're more than welcome, Sandee. I'm glad you asked me and thank you for your reply. For some reason, it was scary to write. I'm thinking and praying for you, "hubby" and Little Bit. Loss is tough. I know you're both having a hard time.

And, I want you to know that I met Ann through Comedy Plus, or I just started going to visit her blog. I cannot say we know each other well, but she seems kind and fun. I'm slowly, but surely, meeting other bloggers again, and I trust your judgement.

You have a great evening, and again, thanks for your concern and reply.

"Big Hugs" back to you, and I will tell Simon you sent scritches.

Sandee, when I read my comment back to myself, I realized how odd "partner" sounded, but at my age "boyfriend" sounds strange too. I guess we should have married. Growing old is odd, isn't it?

(By the way, don't tell anyone.) (smiling)

"Big Hugs," again,

Growing old is awesome Annie. We eventually can retire and do what we want. We can express ourselves and not worry about what others think of our opinions. We are more sure of ourselves. We are happy in our wrinkled bodies. I think it's a wonderful time of life. Well at least hubby and I are embracing getting old together. It's all we can do.

Big hugs. ♥♥♥
