Awww... Monday's

Awww... Mondays, is a weekly post in which Sandee, from Comedy Plus, invites her readers to join her in posting a picture that makes you say Awww...

I love Awww... Monday's because posting a kind, adorable, or happy image is the best way to begin a new week, and although I was delighted with the idea, I thought it would be more difficult. However, I have found more than a few images that make me say, Awww...so many in fact, that I want to post them all at once.

There are so many to choose from, although the photo of this mischievous trio, won my heart.  I got a kick out of the fact that the puppies are clearly exhausted, but the kitten is eager to play.

Thank you Sandee, for creating a fun way to begin each week, and for inspiring your readers, to find endearing photographs or images to share.  I look forward to this post every Monday, and that's not a bad way to begin each week.

And thanks to all of you for visiting A Nice Place In The Sun. I appreciate all comments, and checks in the boxes below each post. Your feedback lets me know how I'm doing.

Have a fun day!

Note:I just realized that I Google + myself. Geez-

Tuesday's Question- When Are You Most Like Yourself?

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's Question

Tuesday’s Question is as old as this blog, which I started writing sometime in 2007, thinking it would be a great way to get to know more about the people reading my blog. But, within a short period of time, I realized my readers answers were just the icing on the cake, because after I started visiting their blogs, I learned more about them, and as a result stumbled upon valued friendships, and that can't be bad-

I know you already know what Tuesday's Question is this week, but I'm going to repeat it anyway-

When Are You Most Like Yourself?  I can't wait for your answer, but, I'll go first-

I am most like myself when I'm writing, visiting my son, and spending time with friends. Although, I'm also feel more like myself when I'm reminded of who I am, which happens when I'm in the presence of exquisite, expansive, and astonishing places on earth, because they inhibit the largest life on our planet, they stimulate my imagination and encourage my soul.

For instance, hearing silence although you're sitting in front of a roaring coastline, or stretched out on a bed of clover with birds gossiping about, and then staring into a black sky at universal diamonds, our stars, which give us light, sound, knowledge, love, peace, that only our souls hear, when we are are still enough to listen to silence.

Alright, I may have fallen in too deep....sorry. But, it's still your turn....:)

When Are You Most Like Yourself?  And you can answer with one word or one sentence.

Thank you for visiting A Nice Place In The Sun, and for reading Tuesday's Question.

We look forward to reading your answers- I will reply to each answer, but unfortunately, I have days when I cannot get back to you quickly. Therefore, if my reply is belated, I assure you your answer is important to me, and it will be acknowledged- Thank-you for your patience.

And all comments are appreciated... as well as encouraged- Just kidding. (But, not really.)
Have a day that makes you feel full of joy~

Holly White

A power happy mean girl entered my life on my first day of school. A day I looked forward to for what seemed like years. I watched my brothers from my bedroom window catch the bus, waiting for my day to arrive, and who do I meet the first day, Holly White.

I couldn't understand why other children cried at the bus stop and physically wrestled their parents on their first day of school.
I guess it was due to the fact that I watched my older brothers do it, and they manage to return safely, plus my mother read to us, and I was dying to learn how to read; I guess I was a weird kid.

I remember feeling overjoyed when I climbed the stairs on the school bus for the first time. My brother was instructed to walk me to my classroom, but of course he didn't, which was fine with me, because I was a big girl full of courage, that is until the bell rang, and I started crying and roaming around the school trying to find my classroom.

Then, a miracle happened, another student was also lost and she was with her mother, her name was Holly White, and from that moment on we were joined at the hip. We learned to read and write together, and spent every free moment talking about everything we knew about the world.

We went to all of the same birthday parties, joined brownies together, etc...Holly was one of the popular girls that every female first grader wanted to be associate with, or even join for lunch, and I was her side kick, wing girl, and slave.

For some reason, I didn't feel like I was likeable as myself, so I bragged about the one thing that most children went crazy over- My parents owned a boarding stables, taught riding lessons, and brought most of their boarders to horse shows, so the horses they owned as well as the other horses at our barn were not for children to ride. But, I had a Shetland pony we could ride, and I couldn't wait to tell Holly.

Awww...Mondays!

Awww... Mondays, is a weekly post in which Sandee from Comedy Plus, invites her readers to join her in posting a picture that makes you say Awww...

I have to agree with Sandee, that posting a kind, adorable, or happy image is the best way to begin a new week, and although I was delighted with the idea, I thought it would be more difficult. However, I have found more than a few images that have made me say, Awww...so many in fact, that I want to post them all at once.

But, this week the following photo of a polar bear displaying compassion to another animal won my heart.

Thank you Sandee, for creating a fun way to begin each week, and for inspiring your readers to find endearing photographs or images to share.

And thanks to all of you for visiting A Nice Place In The Sun.

Have a super happy week!

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.

I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense...
