Awww... Mondays...

Awww... Monday's, is a weekly post in which Sandee from Comedy Plus, invites her readers to join her in posting a picture that makes you say Awww...This Monday, I posted a photo of my son, or 'Lucky Luke.'
Lucky Luke

He is four in this photo and insisted on being called 'Lucky Luke,' a character in one of his favorite books. My mother snapped this photo at her home where she has horses, which only made matters worse, since Lucky Luke was a cowboy. A cowboy known for 'Shooting faster than his shadow,' and my son adored him. (Obviously)

We had to refer to him as Lucky Luke for about a year, after which he
moved onto the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc...

Thank you Sandee, for creating such a fun way to begin the week-

And thanks for visiting A Nice Place In The Sun.

Grace- Thank you for such a kind comment, and for your constant support of ANPITS. I think you and Sandee are my only readers. :)

-And you're also the best.-

I hope my son doesn't catch me posting his picture...But, I suppose he'll have to get over it, because I own the copyright. :)

Motherhood is an art impossible to explain, one which requires a vast sea of love, devotion, compassion, and understanding, unmatched by any affection we will ever know again.- Ann Clemmons

Words-

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.

Favorite Phrase

I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense...

In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I’ve been turning over in my mind ever since.

Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,” he told me, “just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.”'
