Tuesday's Question- What was the last song you sung along to?

Hello, welcome to Tuesday's Question! I began writing Tuesday's Question when I started writing A Nice Place In The Sun. I wanted to get know the people who took the time to read my blog and I met many friends, without which, this blog would not exist.  As many of you know, I haven't posted on a regular basis in sometime, so now it's time to get to know new readers and stay loyal to my old friends.

Thanks for hanging in here with me. :)

Okay, I'll answer my question first;

What was the last song you sung along to?

I was running errands a few days ago and to my surprise, "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me," by Sir. Elton John magically rang through my car radio.  I really got into it, and since it was Sunday, I owned the road...it was a great.

Have you ever wondered why some songs resonate with you at specific times? It's something to think about...

Thank you for stopping by and I would love to read what song resonated with you lately. ;)

You're not going to believe this, but this is the last song I sang along with too. It was the George Michael and Elton John rendition.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hugs to you and lots of scritches to Simon. ♥♥♥

A couple of weeks ago, someone picked several John Denver songs for Five on Friday. Waxing nostalgic, i looked up and sang along to "Grandma's Feather Bed." Sometimes life gets so serious that you have to simply let loose and enjoy some fun.

Oh, Sandee, I remember that...wow! I remember watching the video the day after George Michael passed away. It was a great performance.

You have a fabulous day too, Sandee and I will give Simon his scritches.

Big hugs back to you- :)

Oh, wow, Messy, Sandee just told me that we both sang, "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me," and now you've written about "Grandma's Feather Bed." My mother's best friend taught me how to play the guitar when I was about twelve and we were both John Denver fans, so she taught me a lot of his songs.

I got chills when I read your comment because my friends and I got in trouble in Junior High school for slapping our knees and singing "Grandma's Feather Bed," out loud in class. You and Sandee made my day!

Thank you for sharing! And, you're right, sometimes, "you have to simply let loose and enjoy some fun." :)
