Sibling Rivalry

Hello, and welcome to A Nice Place In The Sun. I'm back...but I'm still regaining my sea legs, so I haven't written anything new and I've been worried about it. Then, this morning, I remembered a second grade essay written by my brother David and I realized I'm not the only writer in my family...I mean geez...;)

How long is he going to hold it against me?

Do you have any sibling stories to share? Can you guess my sibling David’s and my birth order? Am I younger or older than David? What birth order are you?

I cannot wait to read your comments...And thanks for visiting A Nice Place In The Sun. I appreciate it.

More posts coming soon...Have a great day!

I think we have all written bad things about our siblings back when we were young. I know I did.

I'm guessing you are the youngest since biting seems to be by the babies. So your the baby to your brother.

My sibling story is about when my mom came home with my sister and I was mad. I was about 4.5 years old and had been the only child until then. I didn't want any sisters or brothers and apparently I threw a bloody fit for quite a while. My parents laughed about this for years.

I'm the oldest and after a bit I was good with having siblings.

Have a fabulous day Annie. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Simon. ♥♥♥

Laughing...I knew you would guess our birth orders. Yes, I'm the baby, of three children. So, you can only imagine how my oldest brother felt. In fact, I thought of him while I read your story, which, by the way is fabulous. I can sympathize with the way that would make the oldest feel, but then, you know what they say, there is something special about the first born, and I can certainly see that in you.

Thank you for putting up with my silliness and always being a good sport. You're a great friend. And I bet you were great with us baby biters. I love your story, "a bloody fit," great stuff.

I will send Simon your scritches...he loves comments when they're about him.

You have a fabulous day too, Sandee.

LOL, that is just too cute.
I had one brother who was older than me and for the most part we got along. Of course we had our moments.
One time we were just playing around and having fun. We took kitchen knives and were having a bit of a sword fight. My mother walked in and just about had a heart attack. We were being careful and we just couldn't see what the fuss was about....lol
