Saturday's Movie Moment: The Shawshank Redemption: Hope

I hope...you remain mindful of the good things that keep your dreams, wishes, and plans alive- and live everyday with the excited spirit and open heart of a child...

I adored so many scenes in this movie, but now I'm certain this is my favorite one.

I hope you've enjoyed this Saturday's favorite movie moment.

Have a happy and fun week-end~ Cheers~

Misty Dawn, I think we've about tied each other...I wish Stephen King would write more novels like this instead of horror.

Obviously, his scary novels are fantastic too, but I'm too impressionable to read or watch the movies.

Anyway, I'm glad I picked a movie you like my friend. Happy Saturday and have a great week-end~ :))

Ooops ... blogger is acting strange with me again today. If this is a double comment, that's why! :-)
This is one of my fav. movies too. A film that can give you that happy, "there is always hope" feeling is usually going to be in my BEST list!
Hope you are doing well my friend, and the advice to "live everyday with the excited spirit and open heart of a child" is definitely one to live by. Excellent!

This is definitely in my top ten, I watched it for the umpteenth time last week :)

Have you watched The Green Mile? I loved the movie but liked the book that little bit more :)

Claire, Yes, I've seen the Green Mile and adored it, but I haven't read the book.

However, now that you have recommended it, I need to remind myself to get it. I should have known all of his books are better than the movies. His wife is a good writer too.

I read one of hers that was real good, Pearl is the title. Actually, it may be her only one...her name is Tabatha King. I don't think I'm spelling her first name right, but you've probably heard of her anyway.

I'm glad you enjoyed the clip and thanks for the comment~
