What is Your Favorite Age And Guiltiest Pleasure At That Age And Now?

What is your favorite age and guiltiest pleasure at that age and now? Welcome to Tuesday's Question and thanks to all of you for your continued support!

This weeks question deals with cheap thrills and guilty pleasures, the likes of which we share among friends who will not judge us and love us anyway... we hope. You can answer a piece, part, or all of the question, just be sure and have fun while you're answering it. Here's my answer:

My guiltiest pleasure now is ice cream, wine, and more ice cream. I have been known to sneak a cigarette from time to time. I know, I know, cigarettes are terrible and I stopped smoking years ago, but I enjoy one occasionally especially with an old friend mulling over old times... or a new friend, beginning new times, or with a class of wine ...

My favorite age or ages are 22, 27, and now. When I was in my twenties I loved to dance in water fountains, make believe I was other people in public, and ring doorbells then run when someone answered. Yes, my ex husband and I actually rang door bells when I was 23 and pregnant with our son. He was the getaway driver and I rang the bells. Although most of the time, he left me standing outside or running after the car when someone answered the door. We also danced in public water fountains, and pretended to be other people with real estate marketers. Sometimes real estate marketers looked for tourists to buy and sell property in our hometown. They gave out gifts of money or dinner to couples who would go on their property tours, so this is the time I'm speaking of when we pretended to be different people. We didn't just walk around pretending to be other people, that would be weird. Now that I've embarrassed myself, what childish antics are you or were you up to, and what is your favorite age?

The greatest time in my life (except for now) was when I came of age in 1969. I wanted to be a flower child in San Francisco. Off I went to the big city, long hair, headband complete with a flower. I roamed all over the city, lived in a commune and basically did nothing productive for about two months. It was a big thrill at the time. Free love and peace was my mantra. I'll leave it at that.

I have lots of guilty pleasures now. Blogging with my buddies (you know who you are), boating and being with my husband. I enjoy my champagne and pasta. I've worked all my life to be able to enjoy these things. I just wish I could have champagne and pasta whenever I wanted. Sigh..., but this time of my life is the absolute best!

That is great! I love this answer Sandee. I believe it is my favorite of your answers so far. I would have guessed exactly what you said about you too. I can tell and feel your free spirit. I have got to met you one day. I missed the free love and peace era, coming of age right behind you in 1979. I was always so mad too, that I wasn't born sooner. Although, looking back, maybe it was for the best. Smile.

I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself, and I'm jealous everytime I hear you say you're headed for the boat.
You sure are a great person, a person I'm glad to call my friend.

Have a good day~

The spring and summer I was 16. A great group of friends. Lots of freedom. Lots of laughing. And a boy I was madly in love with. Ahhhh.

Patois, Wow! Lots of freedom? It sounds like you had great parents, a great escape plan or both. I would would willing to bet it was both. (Laugh) Thanks for the comment.

I think I would have to say the best time of my life was when I was 18.
My guilty pleasures...My freedom and lots of boys! Funny but they didn't feel like guilty pleasures back then!

Boys, Boys, Boys! Eighteen is a great age. Are boys guilty pleasures? I guess they kind of were huh? Great answer Dawn. Thanks for another great contribution and for your support of Tuesday's Question. You're a dynamite friend, which is the backbone of Tuesday's Question. Have a great week~ :))

Hi Ann,

Good to know that you're insane, lol, I'm just kidding...haha....I love that you danced in water fountains!

Well my favorite age is right now. Weird I know. But most of my life I've been very unhappy dealing with my childhood. Finally after over thirty years I'm actually over it!! Yippee. Throw that together with me finding my true love in writing and you've got one happy Christy on a super big Coffee Break. LoL.

I see a bright future where there was once only darkness. :)

My guiltiest of the guilty pleasures would be massive amounts of coffee. Oh and let's not forget my chocolate addiction, lol.

Luv You Ann, have a great night:)

Oh and Sandee...That is the coolest thing I've ever heard!! I wish I could have been a flower child! Peace:)

My best age was about 25. I was free earned good money and with that came my guiltiest pleasures;
partying partying and partying.
We went for weekends to Antwerpen Brussel in Belgie, to Paris and The Hague.....to party and men we did

Christy, Laughing. Yep, that's me. insane. I laughed when I saw that you wrote that. You never know who you're going to meet on the internet. I'm glad you like the water fountains. When my friends and I saw the beginning of the comedy show "Friends" years later, we thought, ah, they have nothing on us! I love this time in my life too. So does Sandee, so no, it's not weird. It's really good.

Plus, I forgot about chocolate.

I love this sentence you wrote, " I see a bright future where there was once only darkness." it's so poetic. And we're going to have to go visit Sandee, Christy. I wish I could have been a flower child too. Me and you would have been good flower children, don't ya think?

Thanks for the great comment. I enjoyed it, and I'm sure others will too. Having Batman's answers really adds to Tuesday's Question, Thanks Christy~ Luv you too~

Marja, I love my twenties too! Man, we've all had fun, haven't we? I love how well I'm getting to know everyone. I wish you were all in my living room and we were trading stories. But, this is the next best thing, especially considering the distance between all of us. Great comment Marja!

Hugs, Ann

Love your answers Ann. I enjoyed being a kid and I loved having my babies, so I guess my favorite ages so far were 6, 22, 23, 24, 29, 31, and 34. Hee hee!

Actually I think 40 is going to be my favorite age. I'm not too young, not too old and finally have stuff figured out.

My guilty pleasures are staying up too late, chocolate, enormous margarita's, buying new computer stuff, and laughing loudly!

Great answers Polli, and 40 is a great age! I'm really enjoying my forties period. I love your guilty pleasures. You have some good ones. Thanks for commenting~ :))
