Warming the Globe Through Friendship
I love this link list I read awhile back on Vic Grace's blog Cariboo Ponderer entitled Warming the globe through Friendship. When I first read it, I liked it so much, I planned on returning to join and write a post, however, this and that got in the way, and well, I simply got sidetracked. However, what impressed me about the list, was Vic Grace's simple desire to spread friendship throughout the blogosphere. She didn't add any specific rules or requests, except for the little badge that went along with it's intention.
Anyway, I went about my business until my good friends Sandee from Comedy Plus, and Christy from Christy's Coffee Break passed it to me in a post on their blogs.
Now Vic Grace is the author of another link list of friendship in which she added A Nice Place In The Sun. Therefore, I'm going to tag Christy and Sandee and some more great blogging buddies to help continue my new friend Viv Graces viral linking lists.
Isn't it something that Viv Grace's dream of spreading friendship through the blogosphere has worked? I hope the fact that I'm posting two lists within one post is not too confusing. But I'll leave the links with each list so that you can read the original post. That way, if you would like to pass one or both lists on you will know more about their background. If you don't see your name on either list, Vic Grace says it's o.k. to add yourself and pass it along to the blogs you read on a regular basis.
Or at least I think that's what she said, if it isn't, you'll see this post suddenly disappear into the blogosphere and I will be embarrassed. :)
Happy friendship and thank you Vic Grace for the authoring this great idea. In addition, thank you Christy and Sandee for thinking of me when reading the original post.
The first list is the Warming the Globe through friendship list along with Vic Grace's introduction that I loved so much. (The above badge is included) Here is the link to the original post:

If your name is not included in the list please forgive me, I may have thought you would rather not be tagged, or I absentmindedly forgot. The one thing I dislike about meme's is that you have to exclude many blogs, and there are so many blogs that I love. Please add you name if it's not listed. Happy Friendship!

Angels On Earth
Lost inside a state of mental and physical exhaustion, I prayed to meet an angel on earth, then, I felt the pillow of a horses mouth gently sweep grass from the palm of my hand.

Motherhood is an art impossible to explain, one which requires a vast sea of love, devotion, compassion, and understanding, unmatched by any affection we will ever know again.- Ann Clemmons

Words-
Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.

I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense...

Alone in her world
of make believe
weaving her stories
of magic and light
She brings joy
to the eyes
of innocent minds
less jaded and free
For only they know
what's in her heart
holding the secrets
she guards so well
Life's hidden mysteries
belong to those
whose wisdom and truth
shine on in imagination

In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I’ve been turning over in my mind ever since.
Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,” he told me, “just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.”'
F. Scott Fitzgerald. (Lines from The Great Gatsby)
"A Southerner Talks Music"
Mark Twain
"A book must be the ax for the frozen sea inside us."

The best ideas are always the simplest ones, aren't they!
