Awww...Monday's!

Hello, and welcome to "Awww Monday's," a post created by Sandee of Comedy Plus. All you have to do is post an image or picture that speaks for itself.

Then visit Sandee's blog and be sure to leave a link to your post, where you will find the code with a list of bloggers to visit.

Every Awww Monday's post is different, so it's an exciting and happy way to begin the week. It's interesting to see what each blogger chooses and how their image or picture will inspire you.

It really is a "great way to begin each week."

Have a joyful week...and thanks for visiting A Nice Place In The Sun.

Tuesday's Questions Best Answer!

Who Won?
Hello and welcome to Tuesday's Question.  I began asking questions in 2007 to get to know my readers and I've been asking them on and off ever since.

The idea to get to know the people who were visiting my blog by asking questions, worked, but lately, I realized that I was the one asking all the questions.

In the beginning I thought the questions would stimulate conversation and they did, but most of the time it was a one-sided conversation, meaning, everyone was answering my question.

Besides, I've been questioning my visitors for so long, I decided to spice up Tuesday's Question a bit and choose a best answer and the winner would have the opportunity to ask the next week's question and choose the next best answer, and so on...

The first person, and now, co-author of A Nice Place In The Sun, to win Best Answer To Tuesday's Question, was Sandee of Comedy Plus, who asked an excellent Tuesday's Question last week.

This was before I had all of the particular's aired out, meaning, Sandee should have had the opportunity to pick the next best answer, so if our winner from last week's Tuesday's Question would rather not choose who wrote the best answer it will be up to Sandee to decide.

So, are you ready to know who wrote the best answer?

Motherhood- Courage

Motherhood is an art impossible to explain, one which requires a vast sea of love, devotion, compassion, and understanding, unmatched by any affection we will ever know again.- Ann Clemmons

Words-

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.

I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense...

The Storyteller, by Dawn Drover

Alone in her world
of make believe
weaving her stories
of magic and light

She brings joy
to the eyes
of innocent minds
less jaded and free

For only they know
what's in her heart
holding the secrets
she guards so well

Life's hidden mysteries
belong to those
whose wisdom and truth
shine on in imagination
