Today is a great Day!

I love today for two reason's one of which is this fabulous award! I love blogging awards, because they are so supportive and uplifting. The feeling you get from the needed validation and encouragement is like no other, and I will not forget the significance of this one. Leave it to Mel, from Monday Morning Power to give it to me on my luckiest day of the year! Twenty two years ago on this day my only child was born, and October the 1st became my favorite day of the year! I was walking out the door to go to lunch with my favorite kid when I got Mel's comment. Thank you Mel!

Mel was granted this award from Walks Far Woman at Kissing The Dogwood who is herself a fabulous blogger. I love the title of this award, Blogging That Hit's the Mark and it sure turned out to be true in my case!

Thank you so much Ann for the award. This was nice to see on a tough day for me. My first-born turns 16 on Friday so our kids have birthdays pretty close! Happy Birthday to your sweet boy.

Thanks for the award. This is the part where I should say something witty, but I'm tapped at the moment. Thanks again!

Hi Ann, I was just posting about the award, I can't believe that I missed that it was your son's birthday the first time I read this. Happy belated birthday 15 days late:)

Christy, We are just alike, I swear. I didn't even notice that you didn't notice it. That is quite alright. I'll tell him to expect his present any day now. (Laughing) Thanks and I'm coming by to see your award posting. I had all kinds of trouble posting today, and I think blogger is fixing to have another outage! Thanks for the comment Buddy.

Hello everyone. I just noticed that not one of my reply comments came through. I'm so upset and I hope you all know how I love you all and appreciate every single comment. I can't imagine what happened. I'm glad Christy left a comment today or I would've never known. Thanks Christy, and thank you all for commenting. I hope some of you have come back to read this comment, and I hope it goes through.

Love , Ann

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.
