Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind/ Bob Dylan- Most Of The Time

Happy Saturday! This Saturday's favorite movie moment is a video clip of the most romantic and heartbreaking scenes in the movie, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, with Bob Dylan singing 'Most Of The Time' in the background.

If you haven't seen Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, you should definitely rent it- it's one of those films everyone can relate too, I promise.

Have a happy, fun, dreamy, and if possible, romantic week-end - and remember: if romance is not in the picture right now, to have a happy, dreamy, and fun week-end anyway- because the way I see it, three out of four isn't bad- "Most of the Time" anyhow. :))

Sounds like he has it pretty bad. Haven't seen it. I didn't get the ending. Did she die? You have a romantic, happy, dreamy, and fun weekend. Big hug. :)

Yes, three out of four CAN be bad. I think I remember what romance was, but I am not entirely sure. Have a great weekend, Ann!

Sandee, It's a real different movie, but terribly romantic. No, she didn't die, but she forgets, although it's a fantasy, and like I said real different, so it has a happy ending. I know you're more of a reader and believe it or not I am too, except when it comes to feature films. In other words, I don't watch much television either. Maybe a few shows a month. You are the only other person I know who would also rather read. But I do love films... And thank you for the wishful week-end! As I said, three out of four isn't bad~ "Most of the Time." :))

You have all the big fours! And if you're going on the boat be careful~ I can't blog without ya pal~

Big hug back~ Ann

Oh come on Bud, happy, dreamy, and fun! You are all three! Plus, I'm not completely convinced that you've forgotten what romance is...

Because, like Bob Dylan says we can train ourselves to be o.k "Most of The Time" but the true romantic never forgets. :))

You have a great week-end too! :))

This is one of my top ten all time fave movies Ann. And what's even cooler, is the whole movie reminds me of my relationship with my husband (on-again/off-again). And, my husband totally looks like the lead character Jim Carrey plays in the film, and his mannerisms are eerily similar.

Sometimes true love has to go through complete and utter hell I guess before you get to the heaven part. I'm glad I stuck around to find out.

Hope you are doing well!

I'm glad you stuck it out too Paula. I think one reason this movie is so popular is because so many people can relate to it. I think I saw it about 25 times, no exaggeration. (LOL)

It does a good job of reminding us of how we need to appreciate each other more, and not be so picky about the little things. Relationships are hard work, but anything worth it is, don't you think?

I'm doing fine, and I hope you are doing well too~ :))

I've heard a lot of good things about this movie. Unfortunately, I never got around to watching it. All I get are bits and pieces from when I happen to switch channels or catch it on HBO. But from what I have watched, I wonder if this film is somehow similar to The Fountain. It's a movie with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz and also contains a bit of surrealism of sorts.

Sandee, I'm so sorry sweetie and it means a lot to me that you care. I'm fine, with the exception of the worst abscessed tooth ever- I'm trying to write a light explanation of what happened to Tues Q. with one side of my face the size of a grapefruit. I will e-mail you if I can't get this post up or try and find your number. This, as I'm sure you know, is one of the hardest things about being the sole writer of a blog, and why these things happen on Tuesday are beyond me. I seemly couldn't post it yesterday, and am not feeling so swell today, although I'm going to try an get up some kind of explanation soon or e-mail one of my best pals (you) shortly.
