Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Judy Garland and Toto)

Nobody sings Over The Rainbow like Judy Garland...and I've always been amazed at how wonderful "Toto" is in this scene...

I'll be back to my regular posting schedule...soon...I promise. All of you are important to me and I appreciate you stopping by to visit. I will be visiting you soon...

Crimeny Annie don;t worry about us!! We'll always be here. Well, God willin' and the crick don't rise, anyway!

Alas, my satellite speed is gone and I can't watch this video. It is one of my favorites.

And you are most definitely correct. No one has or will ever be able to sing as well as Judy Garland!!

That's definitely her baby!

Happy MM and Hugs!!

Well it's good to hear that it's your computer that was on the fritz and not you. Phew!

Judy Garland's version was the definitive one for me too until I heard the version I posted on my answer to the Tuesday Question. Now that has become my ultimate, total favorite.

Really tho, time for a new 'puter.

Annie, I hope you can get this message here. I am receiving emails from your email address asking for money.

The writing and grammar are atrocious so I know the mail is not from you.

I replied to try to tell you and the very same person responded back to my email saying yes you were in London and needed money to come home.

Your email address book has been accessed Annie. I hope you get this message so you can get the mail cleared up!!

Love and hugs!

Jackie, I'm soo sorry...You're so smart...It's not me.

My brother contacted me this morning about the same thing...and he also tried to e-mail me back and the same person replied.

How in the world I would get to London to begin with is the question. This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me on the internet.

I've contacted MSN and hopefully this whole mess will be over with soon.

As you know, I've been having trouble with my computer, but my virus protection is in tact...and according to the computer experts it's on the mend.

Anyway, so now, I'm going to try to publish a post~

Bless you~

Annie

it is possible that you need to clean out the old files in your computer.
one way is to use the disc cleanup that is installed in you computer.here is how you access that tool.1)click start, than all programs, than acessories, than click on system tools, when that opens you can open up the disc cleanup. click to cleand the C drive. that may help speed up the computer.

Thank you Mike...I defragmented my system...But, I haven't tried just cleaning up the "C" drive.

I'm going to try it/ By the way, if you (or anyone who might read this) receive an e-mail from me saying I'm stranded in London and I need money. It is not me...In addition to every thing else, my e-mail has been hacked...

Boy...life can be hard...:) and some weeks are worse~

I'm working on this problem and should have it cleaned up shortly...

All of you are the best people ever~

Big hug Mike~

I also loved her singing it when she was much older. It was always so moving :)

She sang it once when she was dressed as a hobo. She sat cross legged on the stage and choked up as she sang it. It brought a tear to my eyes - wonderful singer!

Hi Ann,

I received the same weird hotmail message supposedly from you trapped in the U.K. How horrible that someone is using your name in a scam.

I just wanted to let you know, hopefully there is a way to stop it.

Take Care,

Christy :)

Oh my goodness Annie... I'm so sorry that someone has hacked your e-mail and that your computer is running horribly as well. Have you tried running any spyware programs? It can really slow your computer down. I use Spybot and Adaware alternating running one each night when I finish up on my computer. Both are free and work great. Here are the links (included because you may be running too slow to look them up)

I hope this helps

Hi Annie, just wanted to stop in and say hello and hope you are feeling chipper. Someone hacked my e-mail once and sent all my friends a virus! I changed my password and e-mailed everyone in my contact list to not open any attachments. People are so cruel. Another thing you can use that is free is Ccleaner. It is wonderful. I use this and Adaware all the time. Good luck sweetheart.

I am thinking of getting a rainbow bedspread for my room with maybe white curtains. And paint my room light blue. The bed spread is from wal-mart so it is cheap. I am looking for a quick way to update my room.
