Annie honey, I had seen this before but it always makes me laugh out loud. As the mother of two sons, I sometimes feel as this imaginary women does, that no one is good enough, but I'm sure the brides Mom feels the same way.

When hubby and I got married, at the reception, it didn't matter what the seating plan said, the Irish sat together and the Italians sat on the other side.

They have gotten over it by now but was so funny at the time.

They even had an Italian band that tried to play some Irish songs...It was a riot...but that was in the cave men days.

Maunie, It sounds like your wedding was hilarious~ Italian and Irish ~Wow~ What a hot mix. I'm Irish and I remember the older generation in my family acting so silly about ancestry. My brother sent me this invitation and I couldn't help but post it.

I want to thank you for letting me know how to find Maunie's World, but now I'm having trouble with the picture. I'm going to go to Santa's site and see if I can find the code again.

I miss visiting you. Thanks for another great comment.

Huge hug,

Annie

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.

I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense...

Alone in her world
of make believe
weaving her stories
of magic and light

She brings joy
to the eyes
of innocent minds
less jaded and free

For only they know
what's in her heart
holding the secrets
she guards so well

Life's hidden mysteries
belong to those
whose wisdom and truth
shine on in imagination
