I'm Coming Home

I'm Coming Home, to A Nice Place In The Sun, which I didn't name after the movie.  I was thinking of a soft place to fall, or a special place to be.  Anyway, it's a metaphor for your favorite place to be in the world or wish to become, it's for you to decide.

I forgot about the movie when I wrote the title, and at least my title is, "A Nice" place in the sun.

In any event, this is the second post I've published in a long time.  I have a lot of great memories connected to this little Blogspot blog. Personal memories as well as the fabulous people who were part of my blogging community.

I have missed all of my readers, and I apologize for abandoning you. I am ill and I guess I didn't want to admit that I couldn't post every day.  I wish I had written something because I do not want to quit blogging.

I do tired easily, but I am writing my first novel for adults which a dear friend and fellow blogger inspired me to write. Sandee from Comedy Plus (comedy-plus.com) read a post of mine and left a comment suggesting I write another post on the subject.

When I thought about writing another post, I realized that Sandee struck a chord and that I should consider writing a manuscript related to the subject of my post, and then work on getting it traditionally published.

And, boy, I did not realize how long it takes to write a book, and I have studied the American language for a long time.

Anyway, I thought about how I managed to post on Facebook every now and then, so I figured I could start writing on my blog again. I felt like I had to write on my blog every day, whereas it didn't matter when I posted on Facebook.

So, I have decided to begin posting one post a week, then slowly build up to more posts. The last post I recently posted is entitled, "Ghosts Of Christmas Past," which is in my book. I posted it on Facebook, and I wanted Sandee to see it, but she missed it.

I am going to post "Tuesday's Question," every Tuesday like I used to do and everything I post on Facebook will be posted on here as well. However, Facebook will not get everything I post on here.

I hope some of you will remember me, and realize I really do care about my readers. In fact, that is why I started Tuesday's Question to get to know my readers and for them to get to know me, plus it's fun.

So, I will post Tuesday's Question this coming Tuesday, the 23rd of April. I hope someone shows up.

Thanks for reading-

Sandee, you are simply the best! I miss blogging so much, and one of the reasons is because of the people I met, like you. I like Facebook, but it is not as warm and authentic as belonging to a blogging community.

I guess they're different, but we were here first, weren't we? I sent you an e-mail about the post below, "Ghosts Of Christmas Past," since it is a piece of the book you inspired.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment, especially with all you have going on.

I will be thinking of you and Zane, and you will be in my prayers.

Lost inside a state of mental and physical exhaustion, I prayed to meet an angel on earth, then, I felt the pillow of a horses mouth gently sweep grass from the palm of my hand. – Ann Clemmons

Words-

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.

I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense...
