Tuesday's Question! "What's The Worst Food You've Ever Eaten To Be Polite? "

Hello, welcome to Tuesday's Question! I began writing Tuesday's Question when I started writing A Nice Place In The Sun. I wanted to get know the people who took the time to read my blog and I met many friends, without which, this blog would not exist.  As many of you know, I haven't posted on a regular basis in sometime, so now it's time to get to know new readers and stay loyal to my old friends.

Thanks for hanging in here with me. :)

Okay, I'll answer my question first;

"What's The Worst Food You've Ever Eaten To Be Polite? "

Plum Pudding! When I was a little girl my maternal grandmother had my immediate family over for Christmas dinner every year, and on some occasions she would invite a friend.

We referred to my grandmother's friend as Mrs. M, well, Mrs. M brought plum Pudding the first time I remember her joining us for Christmas. I've heard that Plum Pudding is good, but I cannot bring myself to taste it to this day.

After the pudding was served, my family members excused themselves from the table with the pudding still in their mouth. The adults tried to time their departure, but my brothers and I raced to the bathroom.

When I returned to the table I remember feeling sorry for Mrs. M., but she never noticed, and I really do not think she cared because she brought it back the following year, and the year after that...and so on.

Alright, now it's your turn... "What's The Worst Food You've Ever Eaten To Be Polite? "

I cannot wait to read your answers and I appreciate you stopping by A Nice Place In The Sun.   Have a spectacular day!

I've never had plum pudding and I don't want any either.

I can't think of any food that I ate to be polite. If it's icky I'm not eating it. I've had food that was fair at best and I ate that, but eating something I don't like just isn't going to happen.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Simon. ♥♥♥

Words are the core of our souls, without written, vocal or lyrical expression we lose sight of one another or worse, ourselves. Words bring forth the essence of the human spirit; so express yourself without abandon.
