Happy Saturday Song From Mr Hollands Opus



I wanted to post a scene in Mr.Hollands Opus, where the character portrayed by Jean Louisa Kelly sings this Gershwin tune, but the video keep skipping- so I posted her performing it on what I'm guessing is David Letterman- the video didn't offer a clue. Jean Kelly's version is one of the best version's of Someone To Watch Over Me that I've ever heard. Anyway, Saturday's favorite movie moment is a scene in Mr Hollands Opus in which the character she portrays performs this tune.

    It ain't Willie or Waylon but still beautifully done..:):)I quite enjoyed it..I guess my horizons are expanding along with my waistline.....:):)

    Robert, I'll have to agree that Willie and Waylon are a hard act to follow. LOL But I'm glad it helped to expand your "horizons along with your waistline" (Laughing)

    Christy, Yes, I got your e-mail and it was hardly a quick goodbye. I feel bad that I didn't e-mail you right back to let you know it wasn't abrupt at all. I'm e-mailing you back as I speak or I should say as I write. LOL I'm so glad you liked the video.
